What one company record looks like: three well-known Japanese companies, with every source and date.
These are abridged samples. We built them from our local copies of Japan's public register data. They are not signed and not live responses. They contain companies only. No individual is named anywhere.

Data dates in all three: Corporate Number register 2026-10-14 · Qualified Invoice Issuer register 2026-10-13 · EDINET code list 2026-10-06 · EDINET document list 2025-10-06 to 2026-10-05.
Generated readings are not names. A value labelled generated (for example Soniiguruupu Co., Ltd. or Takashima Ya Co., Ltd.) is our own machine reading of the registered Japanese text. It is not a registered name or a registered address, and it is often not how the company writes its name in English. Where the company registered an English name, it is shown as official-en (National Tax Agency) or in name_en_edinet (EDINET code list).

events | register changes we recorded from the National Tax Agency's daily change files, and the window we looked at, including days for which no change file was published |
observations | neutral notes where two registers differ. They are never a judgement about the company |
sources, notice | the attribution line for each register, with its data date, and the National Tax Agency's required notice |
