Verify a Japanese supplier's invoice registration number (適格請求書 T-number) — validity, status (registered / expired / revoked), registration & cancellation dates, the joined 法人番号 (Corporate Number), and a best-effort romaji name/address — from one clean English endpoint, backed by a checkdigit-validated, daily-refreshed mirror of the 国税庁 register.

registers publish them, and look surprising out of context:
update_date can precede registration_date (the record was last updated when
the issuer applied; the registration took effect when the system started on 2023-10-01), and
edinet.securities_code is the EDINET code list's 5-digit form (6701 is published as 67010).
We mirror both as published rather than reformatting them.

the sync read that page within 48 hours (the register cannot be fresher than its source);
older data is refused with 503, never served silently. GET /health names the rule in force
(data_as_of.freshness.rule) beside source_latest_diff_date and
source_gap_business_days, and a 503 body carries the same. Every response carries
data_as_of.
